It’s common sense that movies which adults watch or like to view may be unsuitable for children because of various reasons which we all know. So if you really want to save your children from all the violence and drugs which are very common in today’s films, I advise you to check out some good PG movies.
Good PG Rated Movies
All the movies that I am listing out are great fun to watch and are best for children. But if parents are still concerned, let me assure them that all the names given below have been given a PG certificate.
Lion King
This film is nothing short of spectacular. A classic tale of courage and honor. A fight between good and evil, Lion King is the tale of a young cub Simba who is banished from the community as he’s been wrongly blamed for his father’s death. He comes back and saves his kingdom from the clutches of his evil uncle Scar. A must watch!
The Pacifier
Action star Vin Diesel gets assigned a mission where he has to baby sit 5 not so good kids. He has to make sure that he keeps them and the mission safe. Expect lots of humor and sarcasm.
Hannah Montana: The Movie
Teen idol Miley Cyrus is back as Hannah Montana in this successful movie. In this story Miley moves back to her home town to get grounded and experience what life is really about. A good PG movie for girls.
Spider Man
One of the most successful movies of all time, Spider Man put Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst on the map. One of the few good PG movies to watch. This movie shows how a nice and nerdy Peter Parker becomes the iconic and amazing Spider Man. Watch out for his web and amazing jumps from the skyline of New York.
Toy Story
Many of us say that toys talk when you shut the door and this movie confirms that. There have been three chapters to this iconic franchise and all of them have passed the good PG movies test for boys and girls. Watch out for lots of toys and their amazing adventures.
Harry Potter
Each and every kid should watch Harry Potter films. It’s an amazing tale of courage and valor of a young boy against the evil wizard Lord Voldemort. The Harry Potter franchise has seven parts in all and the last part is hitting movie screen on July 15th. Forget kids even teenagers like watching Harry Potter films.
National Treasure
Nicolas Cage plays the courageous Ben Gates in this treasure hunt epic. Gates is looking for a treasure which has been kept hidden for over 100 years. Kids who love history and treasure hunts will love this good movie.
101 Dalmatians
One of the best movies from Disney, when Cruela steals Pongo and Perdy’s new born, it causes a chaos in all of America. Watch for those amazing Dalmatians.
Pirates of the Caribbean
Watch it for the adorable Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the funniest movies you will ever see, it has an amazing story, special effects, ships and then there’s Johnny Depp who makes sure that you are entertained no matter what.
Finding Nemo
I personally don’t like fish films, but I fell in love with Nemo the first time I saw him. The plot focuses around Nemo, the only child of a single parent clown fish. In the film, Nemo gets separated from his father and then the magical journey of Finding Nemo begins.
